Anti-Ragging Policy
Government Polytechnic Kanalichina has maintained a
"Ragging Free Campus" for the past several years with the
valuable support of students and guardians. Ragging includes teasing, harassment,
cruelty, mental and physical torture of freshers, which can lead to serious consequences
such as dropouts, conflicts, and even legal action. The institute considers ragging a
cognizable and heinous offence and takes strict action to ensure a safe academic environment.
Punishment For Ragging
- Cancellation of Admission
- Suspension from attending classes
- Withholding / withdrawing scholarship and benefits
- Debarring from exams / placements
- Withholding of results
- Lodging FIR against offender
- Suspension / Expulsion from hostel
- Rustication from institute
- Expulsion from institution
- Fine up to Rs. 2,50,000/-
- Rigorous Imprisonment up to 3 years
